We are scheduled to be back to the Marina by 9:00 a.m. so everyone was up early and packing their stuff. With that done, we arrived on time and were okayed to proceed into port.
Not long after we docked, we were given the all clear to start packing the shuttles and get ourselves back to the trucks for the ride home.
We drove back to Revelstoke where we stopped for brunch then, all three trucks headed east and homeward bound. Once again, the trucks were loaded to the roof (not sure why that was as we ate all the food and drank a lot of the booze!!)
Jace elected to drive all the way home and I must say, it was a rather long and tiring trip. He managed to get a speeding ticket in Alberta (but that wasn't his fault……it was the car in front of him!!)
I must say, there were four tired souls headed to bed this night. The truck could wait to be unpacked in the morning. It was good to be home.
