It was a rest day today as there are a million football games on TV and it is high time that either John or I win the Football Pool again. So, we must stay here and cheer our favourite teams on and that is exactly what we did....... Nothing but watch TV!! Life is good!!
Hogan wandered the camp and him and I did take a scoot up and over one of the many sandstone hills that we are nestled in amongst. Man, this stuff is called slickrock because it gets very slippery when it is wet but, it is a traction delight when it is dry as it grips your shoes and one can walk up some places where you really did not think you could get to. That was our exercise for the day so I really did not feel guilty about sitting and watching TV for most of the day.
I also stuck my nose into the Kindle and flew away from here to see what was happening in the world of fiction!! Life truly is good!!
John cooked supper and the day slowly came to an end. Tomorrow, we will be back out onto the trails for more adventure. Who knows........
