Sunday, April 12/2015 - Saturday, April 18/2015

We really did get some packing done this week.  Our time down here is quickly slipping away. Spring has hit back home and although the temperatures are still a bit brisk, much of the snow has gone and I am sure several of the "spring" birds have returned to the Prairies.
With the week being spent on packing, the days went quickly. Much of it is done now so it is only a matter of loading the quads into the trailer, hooking up and heading out.
Perhaps we could get one more ride in though before doing that!!
Ray returned home this week along with his friends Mike and Judy. He had a good time in Mexico but his allergies got the best of him and he was so stuffed up he could hardly breath!! The allergy meds were just not working for him. He said it was hot and sooo very muggy when he was there that he had trouble sleeping. Sounds like he needs to visit again earlier in the season when it is not so muggy there.
We did manage to get one more quad ride in this week and that is indeed the final one.
John was determined to find the Arch at Morristown so decided to take the back way in and he did find it!! MaryBeth had not been here before either so enjoyed the trip. We made a big loop but managed to get back to the park before dark. Now that is an accomplishment in itself!!
Hockey playoffs have started now so it looks like our evenings are going to be spent keeping track of the games.
The Palo Verde trees are in bloom

Lots of yellow flowers on the Palo Verde trees

Quads and Palo Verde.......Life is good!!
