Headed north
Today is the day we start our journey home to Canada and Kay's journey back to Utah.  Work has already contacted her and she is to be ready to go by the end of the month.
We will be staying in the forest around William's Arizona tonight and we are all hoping the cats, especially Sky will be a good "camping" cat.  We already know that Corinna will be just fine.  Sky, on the other hand is a curious kitten and often decided to go on an adventure and not come back when Kay whistles for her.

The trip today was uneventful and we are grateful for that.  Being that we were over 40 feet long with the trailer, we were not able to take the pass to Prescott.  Instead, we had to take the "back way" through Skull Valley but this offered us lots of forest views and a wonderful view of the valley once we crested the hill.
We arrived at the camp spot in good time and held our breath while Miss Sky headed for the great outdoors.   We were all pleased when she stayed fairly close to camp and often came back to the trailer to "check in"!!  I think she will be an awesome camping cat!!  She certainly has the curiosity of a kitten though.  Booko was never too far from her so we only had to look for him to get a clue as to where she was.  Those two have become quite a good pair.

Our spot for the night

We got camp set up and before too long, John had a fire going and we were nestled around it trying to stave off the cool Spring, mountain air.   Even Booko needed his blanket tonight!!

All in all, it was a good day's travel, no drama and the cats settled into the "camping" lifestyle without too much trouble.    Life is Good.
