Having a couple red beers on Sunday before Kelly heads home

Sunday found me working again and Kelly heading back to Saskatoon.  The ever present "working for the man" strikes again!!  Kelly waited for the kids to arrive as she was asked to take Kayton's quad back home.  As it turned out, the quad stayed here and Kelly left later in the afternoon.  The kids had planned of leaving today but apparently a "party" broke out and they elected to stay one more night.  Holidays are over for them as well and "the man" is calling to them as well.

Waiting for the kids to get there shit togeather
On Monday, the kids all left the lake and John and I headed down the North Road to Buck Lake where we met Dave and Shirley.  We sat on the hill overlooking the lake enjoying the sights and sounds.  Booko ran around like an idiot and fun was had by all.
John broke the Saturday steak cycle and cooked steak and baked potato for supper.  The steak tasted just as awesome on Monday as it does on Saturday!!  Imagine that!!

Rain coming in
It rained off and on Monday evening but we did manage to give Booko a good run before heading for home.  He will certainly sleep good after this outing today.

Booko tearing down the trail

Time to head home
Tuesday arrived bright and sunny and we spent a quiet day.   Wednesday found me back at work for a day shift and Thursday found John and I sitting around the campfire under the umbrellas while it rained.  There really is nothing like sitting around the fire, in the rain, under an umbrella, with a fine beverage in your hand!!  Booko abandoned us for the mancave and I think he actually gave us a dirty dog look as he left the campfire.  LOL   He is such a princess!!
Friday was a quiet day and John contemplated his attack mode for getting rid of the little camper trailer out of the shop.
Saturday found me back at work and John started the demolition of the little trailer.  He had the front of it pulled apart by the time I arrived at home.   Things are slowly getting done around here and this upcoming week, we are company free so hopefully most of the work will be done.  Life is Good.
