Monday ride to Lake Delmoe
Monday was Naomie's day off so we planned on a trip to Lake Delmoe in the side by sides.  It was a very enjoyable ride and once again, the scenery was incredible.  There are miles and miles of trails in this area and we really only scratched the surface.  I'm thinking it will take many, many more trips here to become familiar with this part of Montana.

Headed out Tuesday
Naomie and I took a quick trip into Butte and I did manage to squeeze a much needed pedicure out of Naomie.   Before we knew it, it was  time to continue our journey home.  Canada was waiting and it truly was time to get home.

Our spot for the night, Loma MT
We stopped at one of our "go to" places for the night in Loma, Montana.    It is nothing fancy but it is certainly good enough for one night.   It was really quite hot when we arrived and it was so nice to sit out and enjoy the sunshine.   Even Boolo seemed to enjoy it.

We stopped at a local Walmart in Havre, Montana before crossing into Canada. The shelves were noticeably empty and it became clear that I was not really going to stocking up on too many things before heading across the border.  Clearly the pandemic hysteria had struck here as well.
We arrived at the border about five minutes before they closed.  We had no idea we were cutting it so close.  We actually thought the crossing closed at 7:00 pm but in reality, it closed at 5:00!!
Holy Buckets!!
The crossing went quite smoothly. We were only actually detained for about ten minutes.  There were the usual questions and then we got the covid 19 pep talk.  It was quite interesting, especially when the guard told us we were not allowed to get out of the truck to fuel up!!  John mentioned we were eight hours away from home and required fuel to get there.  The guard said "I understand that sir but you will just have to take your chances."  He did not fail to mention that we could be fined up to one million dollars if we failed to comply with the quarantine orders.   YIKES!!
He bid us safe travels and then we were on our way.
Our first night back in Canada was spent in another of our "go to" places south of Saskatchewan Landing.   It is a quiet spot that is most definitely good enough for a one night stay.  It was good to finally be back in our own country.

We arrived at Jace and Kimmy's May 7th and started our quarantine!!  I had arranged for Kim and her sister Karen to do all my shopping so that all I had to do was load it up and head to Leoville where we would finish our quarantine.  Kimmy worked all day long and Jace was at the farm seeding so John and I were by ourselves with the cats!  Life is Good

We were "social distancing"myself!!  Well maybe not Neena!!
