Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there, be it two legged children or four legged fur babies.  Dads are Dads!!
Of course I was scheduled to work Sunday but John wasn't in any condition to do anything anyway so that was OK.  He spent a quiet day resting and sleeping.
Monday, I decided that I was going to try out my new mini rototiller in the garden so I got it out, strung the electrical cord and started tilling.   Well, my little SunJoe works awesome and before too long I had a fabulous looking garden.   Most of the weeds were gone and the rows of veggies were standing up looking proud!!  Now, if we only had some rain!!!  Imagine, wishing for rain when we had so much over the last few weeks but hey, the garden is dry!!
It is brutally hot and it sounds like it is going to stay that way until Friday so I guess the garden gets watered!!
We had a few visitors stop by on Monday on their way home.  Jimmy O stopped to say hi and see how John was feeling.  Scotty and Cody brought "old blue" back.   It had been borrowed the night before by Justin as his quad broke down on the rally so he hitched a ride to Leoville and borrowed the truck to get back to the lake.  Apparently a bear ran out of the ditch and ran into the wheel of the truck while Justin was on the way to the lake!!  And, Preston stopped by on his way to pick up Kayla's quad that had been left on the trail yesterday as it had been swamped and no longer in working order!!   It was busy here for a while!!
Jace and Kimmy decided to stay for another day so they will stop on Tuesday and we can catch up on all their lake news.

Freshly rototilled garden
The week was pretty quite compared to last week and that was a good thing.  John was still in "recovery" mode and I only worked two days this week.  It was good just to be able to sit and rest.
