Road block

It is the day after the night before and we got off to a slow start this morning.   Last night with the kids was fun but the reality of today is that we are headed home.    Lorne and Marilyn wandered down to the cabin with their coffee in hand and together we straightened up what was left of last night's shenanigans!!  We were able to sit and relax for a bit and since John got the quad  loaded yesterday, there was very little that really needed to be done as far as getting us "road ready".

After hugs goodbye, we were on the road, headed home.  Unfortunately, there was a good 40 minute wait for construction but once we got past that, it was clear sailing all the way to Drumheller where we stayed in the valley for the night.  The only bad thing about stopping here was the size of the mosquitos!!  They were huge and plentiful.  We had a great evening burning the wood we absconded from Lorne's woodpile after we sprayed ourselves with mosquito repellent!!

It was a good day of travel and the campfire was a nice way to finish it off.  Tomorrow, we will be home in Leoville and I will have a day to rest before my next night shift on Monday!!  Life is Good.
