Sunday, March 23/2014 - Saturday, March 29/2014

One more week closer to our departure date and we spent it getting "stuff" ready in the camper.  There were a few things that needed to be done before heading out.  John installed the propane heater and hooked it directly into the propane system so that will truly be much easier.  No longer will we have to haul in a 20 pound bottle and maneuver it into the bathroom in order to have heat.  It actually looks pretty good too!!
John was busy doing some re-wiring as well which involved the solar system so now we have an inverter that provides power to each and every plug in in the camper.  Now that will be handy for the coffee pot and the toaster!!
The camper roof got another coat of Elastomeric on it and it has turned out well.  We had a day of so of rain and no leaks so we should be good to go!!  Finally…..no more water on the floor!!
John did move the truck and camper into the yard this week so that there is less walking for me when the repacking gets underway.
Slowly, things are coming together for the trip home.
It was another busy week but we did take the time to enjoy the sun and the shade.  The birds continue to entertain us daily and of course our little family of Javalina come for their snacks.  They love their carrots and I buy 50 pound bags of them to feed them.  The babies are sure growing.
Life is good!!
The Vultures are back
