Mom arrived home and although she was happy to be out of the hospital, the trip had obviously been hard on her. She was in pain and needed to go to bed. With painkillers on board, she lay down and rested.
Shelly and I made pizza (Shelly being the best homemade pizza maker in the world) for supper and once the dishes had been cleared, the cards came out.
Mom got up, feeling a bit better, sat for a while then called it a night and returned to bed.
Cards continued till everyone was tired, then, it was lights out for the rest of us.
