Headed to Camp Verde, Az

We finally got into the truck and headed out.  It was time to start our journey home.  Kay had decided to leave with us and eventually we would drop her and the cats off in Nephi.  I was looking forward to seeing what she had done to her yard over the summer and she said there was a load of wood waiting to be stacked when we got there!!
Kay brought Henrietta (the side by side) with her so that we could do some quadding on the way to Nephi.
Our first stop for the night was the Camp Verde area.  Apparently there are a few trails along Copper Canyon that we needed to check out.
We arrived in Camp Verde to fuel up then head out to the trail head.  While fueling up, John noticed that we had a flat tire on the outside dually on the truck so that had to be dealt with before we were able to get to the trailhead.  Good Sam came through again and a few hours later, we were at the trailhead, beer in hand!!
When Kay decided to keep her two cats and bring them home to Arizona, it was on the agreement that she would take them back to Utah with her when she went back to work.  Well, we were going to be camping for a week before we hit Utah and we were all wondering how the cats would do.  Would they bolt as soon as they were at the first campsite or would they actually stick around.   As it turned out, they took to camping like a couple of pros!!  I still shake my head.......never have we ever camped with cats!!
