Food, at the Camp Verde Brewing Company
Today we headed into the city of Camp Verde.  We needed a few supplies and also had to pick up a used tire for a spare since we had used the spare the other day when we got that flat.  The city lies along side the Verde River which meanders through the Verde Valley.  It is a rather quaint little town and of course we had to check out at least one bar in the joint.  So, the Camp Verde Brewing Company was it.  None of us realized that it was a micro brewery so we got the experience of sampling a few of their beers.  None of us were really all that impressed (we are really quite "common" when it comes to beer) so ended up ordering their apple cider which wasn't too terribly bad.  We also ordered a few snacks and they were delicious so all was not lost!!
We eventually headed over to the tire shop and to the grocery store then headed back to camp.  From there, we took a truck trip down to the Verde River.  The river it self is a rather dirty river, which is home for a variety of catfish and what I assume are "bottom dwellers"  Apparently, there are some spots along its path that are stocked with game fish although with the color of the water, I find hard to believe!!

It was a good day but it is time to move on.  We will be headed to some trails around Williams, Arizona........more adventure awaits.    Life is Good.
