Monday May 9/2016 - Saturday, May 14/2016

Monday found us heading to Leoville on our final leg home.  We have finally arrived and can now enjoy the sights and sounds of summer from there.  It is shaping up to be a busy summer but at least we will be relatively stationary until it is time to head back to Arizona.
We arrived in Leoville around 4:00 0'clock and headed over to Dave and Shirley's to get the keys to the locks on the gate.
We left Cooper in the yard (no worries there as it completely fenced) and were only gone a few minutes.  By the time we arrived back at the yard, the damn dog was gone.  He had found the one and only hole under the fence in which to squeeze himself through and was now "on the loose" Jesus....the dumb ass doesn't even really come to his name yet!!  Man, we haven't even been home for 30 minutes and already there are issues!!  We did eventually find him and calm was restored to the yard!!
The weather had turned chilly and both John and I had our jackets on for most of the week.  This is soo not likeArizona!!  Gosh, it was even trying to snow one day this week.  That is Crazy!!  Good thing I am not in a hurry to plant the garden!!
The tradition of meeting in our yard for a few beers at the end of the work day continued and we had Dave and Shirley,  and Gary over and managed to catch up on some of the winter happenings.  It is good to be home!!
John advertised his quad for sale along with the motor home and we were not really prepared for the response we got.  It was crazy!!  So much interest in the motor home that it was kind of freaky!!  The quad sold on Wednesday and the motor home on Saturday.  It was a marathon event to get the bus cleaned out as the people who bought it called about it on Thursday and wanted to take it back with them to Alberta on Saturday.  Thankfully Shirley came over and helped me with a lot of the clean out as my hips were not being very cooperative.  John did all the outside bays and also helped haul stuff out from the inside. Man, I must say, we sure had a lot of "stuff" in that bus!!
We piled our worldly possessions onto the picnic table and the surrounding grass and that is where they stayed until John got out the little trailer we bought from Gary and packed it so that our "stuff" was out of the elements.  It is a good thing there was no rain in the forecast as that would have made things just a bit uglier!!
Now the task of finding something else to live in begins.
Cooper has checked out every nook and cranny in the yard this week and is finding all sorts of "treasures" Hogan left buried.  His potty training is coming along and he is doing pretty good with that.  He sleeps in his kennel and that is a good thing for now.
Cooper got into "something" in his travels around the yard and was feeling pretty sickly for a day and a half.  He didn't eat or drink and puked more times than I want to remember.   He ate tons of grass and I mentioned to John that if he wasn't eating by the following day, we would have to make a trip to the vet.  Thankfully he was back to his goofy self so that was a relief!!  What ever he had gotten into him had run its course.
So, a busy week had ended and I fear next week will be busy as well.  Shit, Oh dear..........
Life is good - even with my "bad" hips!!
