Another work week in the park is upon us and the weather is certainly hotter than what is expected for the season.   There have been a few "big" spider sightings and a few scorpions but so far.....no snakes!!
Speaking of snakes, we really do have to start thinking about tanning the skins of the twelve rattlers we have in the freezer.  Ray and his co-worker Mundo, have been collecting then since last summer. Kay has a friend in Utah that will take them and do all sorts of crafts with them.  Apparently, he is quite talented.
An acquaintance of ours, has been admitted to hospital this week with a diagnosis of TB!!  Yikes.  He is a sad, sorry fellow who has several issues.  One being a severe alcoholic so he doesn't really look after himself properly.  Hopefully he is feeling better soon and able to get back on track.
There have been several thefts with in the park over the last several weeks and this week was no different.  This week, someone came into the park and stole two trailer tongues!!  Now they are very heavy as they are made out of steel and are quite large so it would of had to have been several people here to lift them.  Soo unbelievable!!    Ray has asked the county sheriff to cruise on through here as often as they can to help with the issue!!
John found himself battling a cold and the flu this week.  Man, he was down and out for 3 days. Aches, pains, stuffed nose and stomach flu!!  See...... he needed to get the flu shot but "Oh No", that wasn't going to happen!!  Hopefully, no one else gets it.
Kay and I went to the hardware store this week and bought a bright red metal bench and two smaller tables to go with it.  We will be putting it out somewhere in the park so that we will have a quiet area to sit once all the mess is cleaned up.  It will be awesome!!  We also added a new Coors Light sign to the man cave.

Another awesome sunset
