Sunday, January 31/2016 - Saturday, Februay 6/2016

Wow, this week heralds in February.  Man, time flies when you are having fun ..... or getting older!!
This week, we took Lorne and Marilyn to the airport for their flight to Mexico.  They will be returning around the 26th of this month so that means the K&M Airport Express has at least two more trips booked as Ray is headed to Mexico in March!!  Man, no rest for the wicked!!
We stopped at the new Winco store on the way home and checked it out.  There were some good buys but I think Sam's Club just may have the upper hand.
Since the weather was totally shitty on Monday, Kay and I hit Red Box, rented some movies and holed up in the man cave for the day.  It was quiet and relaxing but man, what a waste of a day.  The rain carried on intermittently throughout the day and it remained chilly.  Now that stinks!!
The weather is to remain chilly until Wednesday so I assume we will really be stir crazy by then!!
We did managed to start and finish the "tear down" of the add on to the trailer next door to us.  It took us three days but resulted in a real nice "opening' of the yard.  Once the trailer is moved out, we will have quite a large area to call our own.  Lots of landscaping work will be needed to make it look good though but once that is done, it will be awesome.
This week found everyone but one person moved out of the park.  We are pretty much on our own now.  One lady remains and she will be gone before too long I hope!!
Now that most folks have left, there is a TON of clean up to do as most of them left quite a mess behind.  Holy Buckets, I just can not believe that people live in such squalor, filth and disarray.  It is mind boggling!!
Howard, the "old" fellow that has lived on the other side of the wall for several years has decided to move into one of the abandoned trailers here in the park.  He is 88 years old and has resided in a very small camper trailer on Larry's property.  He has picked a double wide trailer that is in

The wrecking crew

pretty good shape and will be moving in to it as soon as we can get it ready for him.  We have scavenged some left over furniture for him and I truly think he is excited about the move.  He too only arrives here in the park for the winter as his home is in Wyoming.
Kay and I took a quick trip into Surprise on Saturday to pick up some KFC hot wings for Sunday.  It is Superbowl Sunday so we will have to cheer on our favourite teams.
This week was busy again despite the weather.  According to the forecast, next week heralds in some warmth and that may or may not be good for me..... I just may have to do the old "dunk my head under the faucet" thing too keep cool!!
