Monday, June 8/2015 - Sunday, June 14/2015

This was a quiet week.  I got called into work on Monday for a 10 hour shift and then worked my scheduled shifts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
John had been wheeling and dealing on a newer truck for us, made the deal last week and it was delivered to us here in Leoville on Wednesday.
It is a 2012 Ford F350 Crew cab Super Duty 4x4.  It has deck for the camper to sit on and and so now John has his summer "project".  He has to get the camper mounted and enclosed before we leave here in October for Arizona.  It is quite a bit bigger than our current Ford and John tells me it has more power so now I am sure we will be just "flying" down the highway!!
The weather this week was a mix of sun and rain and the garden is just smiling now that it has had some much needed moisture.  Everything is up and growing and even the poor struggling tomato plants are looking like they are going to survive.  The frost from earlier  had really made them unhappy!!
There were a few things that needed to be done in preparation for the big Father's Day weekend coming up and we are slowly getting them done up.   I only have a few days off next week so really have to be organized!!  Ya, Marie and organized in the same sentence.....now that is funny!!
