| Blue Skies and Desert Scenery |
This week we took a jeep trip into the desert. It is always nice to be in the backcountry. We actually found a real nice loop trail. We started out on Constellation Road, and found a trail that spit us out into the Hassayampa River bed above Box Canyon. It was an awesome trail and it was a great trip. Being the weekend, there were lots of other folks out there on their quads, dirt bikes and vehicles. Once we got to the Box, we were actually surprised to find only a few people there. Hogan enjoyed the trip (as usual) and we spent the rest of the evening sitting around the campfire.
This week we actually saw some action on the progress of the man cave and patio. The contractors showed up and now the rebar is done and we will be having cement poured next week.
The weather has been great. Lots of sunshine and that means lots of sitting in the sun absorbing the good old Vitamin D. Kay says that next week we will be getting a bit cooler so that kind of sucks but I will certainly not complain as it remains a lot warmer here than back home!!

Another good week has come to a close. Next week we will be starting off with The Superbowl Party!! Woo Hoo!!
