Sunday, February 22/2015 - Saturday, February 28/2015

The last week in February started out with more visitors. Dale and Pam (from Regina) are down for a vacation and drove here to Wickenburg for a short visit. They arrived on Sunday and we were able to take them for a quick trip up to Box Canyon in the jeep. Actually John, Dale and Pam rode in the jeep and Kay and I took the side by side. It was fun and when we got home John quickly got the ribs on the Bbq and I threw the spuds in the oven. Caesar salad and beans rounded out the meal and we all ate very well!!
They returned on Monday for a quick meal at the local Denny's before heading back towards Las Vegas. They were meeting friends along the way. It was a good visit.
The weather turned rather shitty this week as rain was in the forecast and of course it did not let us down. It was rainy, windy and chilly!!
The dryer remains an issue and I fear I have to make yet another foray under the trailer. Holy Buckets!! Hopefully this will be the last one because if John can not figure this out, the next action will be to call an electrician!!
John's thumb decided to open a bit so now we have skin closures across the laceration and have it in a splint!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will do the trick!!
The remainder of the week was dictated by the weather.  The rain was relentless but we did manage to grab a few hours around the campfire and we got a quad ride in as well.
It was good to be back out into the desert riding the numerous trails.  And, we did not see any snakes!!  Life is Good.
