The sun is shining again and another awesome day is upon us. John is scheduled to return home today so my quiet weekend will come to an end. I am sure he has all sorts of tales to tell of his weekend spent at the race track. Hopefully he took some pics and they can be uploaded to the blog.
I have to head over to the nursing home today and get fitted for a special kind of filtered mask. This is another personal protective device that the health district requires us to wear if we are involved in any sort of influenza pandemic. Hopefully I am not around for that nonsense!!
Well, the mask is fitted and the laundry is now done and put away. Gee, have I ever mentioned how much I hate putting the clean clothes away!!
John arrived home and did indeed have a few tales to tell of his racetrack adventures and has now vowed to make this an annual event. I am not sure if I am included in this or if it will be a "guy" thing!!
We spent a quiet evening (I think John is in recovery mode!!) and I am ready for bed. I have done a lot of cleaning over the weekend and now I need to rest before thinking about this upcoming BC trip and then having our friend from Arizona come for a visit right after we get back. We will be pretty busy over the next two weeks so I had better get to bed and rest!!
